Paul and all,

When you go to the used-word list, you will see that "Judy Madnick" supposedly made two edits. I was just trying to figure out how to use the used-word list and obviously didn't use it correctly. But I didn't change anything, so all is well.

Sorry!

Judy

Judy,

Google Sheets doesn't have a Save button, so everything you do gets saved as you go along, and the last automatic save in a session counts as an edit.

For the search to be executed, you have to type a word into the search cell. The search cell is A3, directly beneath "Woid to search for". And since that clearly was insufficiently obvious, I've added–or maybe it was added back–a prompt in that cell.

So, to search involves a typing a word and tabbing out of the cell, or hitting Enter. Entering that word counts as an edit, even if you erase it again straightaway. And if you only remember later to go back and erase it, that counts as another edit.

Not to fret.

Regards

That's exactly what happened, except the I originally typed a word in the wrong cell.

Thanks, Paul!
