With 2.3.0 anyway, some parameters get transferred to KLOG upon pressing the Log QSO button, but unfortunately not the Frequency and Mode. Is this just a KLOG limitation?
What Logger is anyone using that seems to play nicely with FreeDV?

The name of the station is not auto populated either but that might be a qrz.com setting on my side. Would be amazing to have a 1 button logging that captures the essentials.

Thanks in advance for any info.

Hi Scott,
Which method of using the logging feature in FreeDV are you using?

Using the 'Heard Stations' drop down list will transfer all the details
from the listing item that you have selected plus the mode.

Using the FreeDV Reporter will transfer slightly more information (that
I can't recall exactly without being in the shack) again from the
selected row in the listing.

I use KLog myself and find it works well with FreeDV. The mode is
transferred as 'DIGITALVOICE' and the frequency is always transferred.

qlog also works well with FreeDV.

I can't comment on Windows as I ONLY use Linux.

Super helpful Barry, thanks! I was just selecting a station in FreeDV Reporter but I'll try the stations heard option. Also I didn't include digitalvoice before as an available mode on the KLOG side, just "FreeDV" so maybe that's part of it.
I'll try that qlog also.
Thank again!
