Hi Danny

Would it be possible to send the reminder for community call a day earlier - preferably with an agenda (if there is one).
This lets those of us for whom it’s during the night know whether there’s a topic we might want to get up to dial in to.

Regards
Steve

Good point, Steve.

Also, we are planning to start a new community call this fall which should be at a better time for you and others in different time zones to attend. We are almost there.

Hi Merce

Thanks for that. You inadvertently highlighted a related issue though - “fall” (autumn) for the Southern Hemisphere is in March ;-).

Just need to be conscious of the global nature of the community now!!

Cheers
Steve

Hi all

I realised I’m even being a little narrow minded here as well.

For those in the tropics, is “fall”/“autumn” even a relevant concept? I’ve spent time in Darwin, where the important distinction is “wet season” and “dry season” (and even “the build up” which is the month(s) of humidity before the wet season...).

How about we go with calendar months and quarters??

Cheers
Steve

You are absolutely right! Thanks for the correction. We are definitely too northern/western-centric, and need to change that.

Have a great beginning of Spring!

Hi Danny, Merce, Steve,

I would also like to re-join the community calls. Timezones keep killing me, as 12:00 EDT is 18:00 CEST - the time my kids need full attention :-D

It would be totally awesome and perfect when those calls could happen either earlier (so I can join while at work, maybe 10:00 EDT) or later (so I can join when kids are asleep, maybe ~15:00 EDT).

I also would like to propose an agenda item: talk about the future of using Glassfish 4.1.

Thank you very much! :-)

Best regards,
Oliver

Hi Oliver, as Mercè mentions, we'll soon be starting another call. This will also allow us to re-evaluate the call times and pick two times that work best for everyone.

I'll add "moving off Glassfish" to the agenda for the next Community Call.
