Metscape won't register & can't build network

Metscape 3.1.3
Windows 7, 64 bit
Java 8

Every time I start Cytoscape I am asked to register Metscape. I am thanked for registering and then asked again each time I restart. I followed the online tutorial for how to use Metscape but I cannot build a network.

In pathway based mode, when I add glucose to the compounds, it hangs for a few seconds and nothing shows up in the list. I've also tried this for a list of Kegg ids and have gotten the same behavior. The "Build Network" button is always grayed out so I can't add compounds, or genes, and I can't attempt to build a network.

I have tried earlier versions of Cytoscape as well as uninstalling and reinstalling Metscape (as admin.).

Hi Jeremy, 

Thanks for emailing regarding this issue.  The MetScape server was temporarily down, but the issue has been fixed, and the server is back up.
