Hi,

I do not need the AJP connector, and I am looking for an approach for disabling the AJP connector in Tomcat with Cargo. It should be as simple as commenting out the AJP Connector element in Tomcat server.xml, but I do not know how to do this in Cargo.

Regards,
Erik

Hi Erik

This doesn't exist I'm afraid.

Do you know what happens when you set the AJP port to 0?

Hi,

You can set the AJP port to 0, which means that Tomcat will choose a random free port: https://tomcat.apache.org/tomcat-8.0-doc/config/http.html#Common_Attributes
But I really want to disable it - because I do not need it. Anyway, not a big issue, thank you for your quick reply.

Regards,
Erik

Hi Erik

OK, well what happens in CARGO is that we actually use XML replacements to replace existing items in the container's XML or other configuration files. Since Tomcat has AJP enabled by default, we keep it.

But of course this can be improved - Feel free to open a JIRA.
