Dear All,

I have been meaning to tell you, I installed free open-source multiuser CoCalc server on my own computer using Docker. I just want to spend some time regarding the installation of computer networking emulator called "Mininet" on CoCalc. I have successfully installed the mininet using the github description of  Adding custom software to your CoCalc instance. In order to run mininet, it needs to be executed using sudo mn command. To run sudo command, the project needs sudo(root) password. I cant seem to find sudo password of current user in CoCalc. By the way, I made my user Admin in CoCalc but I have no idea how I can find the root password to run sudo commands. Would you kindly update me on the issue?

Sincerely,
Muhammad

Hi Muhammad,

I've added instructions to the README to make a project have sudo rights:

https://github.com/sagemathinc/cocalc-docker/blob/master/README.md#make-a-project-have-sudo-access
