Seen today at 6:15pm, feeders were down but came in to tree right were everyone was standing, went back to SE brush, came back low on the ground around bush north side of feeder pole and worked the feeder squirrel barrier for seed and top of bird feeder post for seed.

Bunting was on the feeders at 1:45pm for a few minutes. Flew to the large fir tree to the right then was flushed out by a squirrel. No sign of him since.

The Painted Bunting was seen several times last night, Friday, from 5:00 - 6:00 pm. It was primarily in the trees south and west of the buildings.

Bird came in to feeder at 1:49PM gave a few second view then hid out in Chokecherry to the west of feeder pole next to the building, all present were able to get decent views of the bird. At 2:13 PM bird bird presented on feeder pole baffle for a few seconds then flew off to the south.

The Painted Bunting came out for about
4-5 minutes at 6:25 pm and landed on the dead tree in front of the west feeder. He then flew to the tray with seeds closest to the building. He eventually was flustered by the House Finches and flew to the south. What a beauty!
