In the middle of a video conference I noticed a tiny bird working it’s way up my neighbors tree. It was all grayish-white and smaller than the female House Finches nearby. Size was more similar to a hummingbird, a little larger. The bill and color was not right for Warbling Vireo, nor was there a distinct eye-line/ contrasting crown. The color and shape wasn’t right for gnatcatcher. The bird really was all one color. I would appreciate any thoughts on this as it really was super intriguing.

Sounds pretty much like the bushtit's hanging around my hood for the past few months.  Great fun seeing them nesting in urban sites.
