Trilby Road at 8:30am Elaine Wagner & Diane Roberts watched the Gryfalcon perched on a power pole before it flew towards the landfill,

As of 11:00am this morning, the Gyrfalcon had not been seen.  I arrived shortly after 7am.

No bird when I left Trilby Rd. around 9 am. I did have a Prairie Falcon between Taft Hill and Shields though.
Has anybody else noticed ebird webpage not working today, or is that just my device?

Spent ~1.5 hrs cruising between Harmony Rd to CR 57, and up and down Shields and Taft Hill, scanning utility poles etc, no sign of the legendary Gyrfalcon. About 7 Kestrels and a couple Red-tails, not much else. Did not enter the landfill proper, maybe Gyr is in there hunting gulls? Overcast, still, low clouds over the westerly ridge.

The Ebird Facebook group has a post from 2 hours ago that says, " There is a network outage here. We are working to resolve it as quickly as possible. Thank you for your patience."

Has anyone checked Reservoir Ridge Natural Area yet? The Gyr spent a little bit of time there last year.
