First Osprey at nest

Driving I home from a trip east along the South Platte, I passed the Osprey platform at 95th Street and Boulder Creek (Boulder County) and spotted an Osprey on the perch above the nest. First one I’ve seen this season.

There is also at least one osprey in Longmont at the nest just off of the Twin Peaks golf course.

Still waiting on the return of the Fairgrounds osprey. It will be interesting as geese have claimed the osprey nest and already laid at least three eggs.
