There is a goose in the pond south of the ELC parking lot that has the body of a cackling goose, a white head and neck and a Ross's goose bill. Never seen one before. Can it be a Ross/Cackling hybrid?

Ross x Cackling Goose hybrids do occur, as well as several other combinations. I have photos of many of these posted online at http://www.pbase.com/quetzal/hybridgoose02012009. Enjoy!
