Hi,
I tested the official PoE HAT (for the Pi B3+) with the Cluster HAT earlier and it looks to work well with no throttling due to high temperature or low voltage after changing the automatic 1.4Ghz to 1.2Ghz throttling from the current 60C limit to the old 70C limit (otherwise it would have throttled due to the CPU temperature reached 68.8C under load).

If anyone wants to give it a go these are the parts I used (clockwise from top left).

Official Raspberry Pi PoE HAT (for 3B+).

Cluster HAT + 4 Pi Zeros.

8x 11mm M-F M2.5 Spacer - I needed to a 22mm spacer but the height you need will depend on the height of the headers you're using.

2x 2x20 Female header (13mm body) with 10mm long pins (yes, I did horrible things to one of them to get the 2x2 as the 4-way riser linked in the blog post is pricey in comparison).

The normal Raspberry Pi 3B+ and  SD card.

And not shown is the network cable and PoE switch/Injector.

There isn't much space between one of the bolts on the PoE HAT fan and the bottom of the micro USB connector on the Cluster HAT so please check it's not touching before powering up.

Chris.

Could you give links to the parts described? Other than the obvious...
Thanks

That or more pictures, especially from the side.
Even with the current picture and the hardware in front of me (except for the small additional parts) it is still unclear what it looks like.

I believe your butterfly GPIO could also be usefull to put a full HAT on the side when using PoE HAT.
Right now I am not ordering it has the postal cost are higher than the product.
Maybe you should add an optional 2*2 square raiser to that kit, and it would work for the PoE HAT too.

Regards
