Hi, gang --

Does anyone know of a plugin for Sublime Text to highlight CHAT syntax? I think it would really make transcripts easier to read... but I'd rather not write one from scratch if it already exists.

Thanks!

Dear Lisa,
I’m not sure what you want to highlight.  If you want to add color to particular lines, there is a facility for doing that.

Hi All-

I see that there's a way to have words/tiers in different colors (e.g., using color keywords). Is there a way to apply this setting to an entire batch of files at once? In other words, if I wanted all instances of 'so' to show up as green in a series of 200 cha files, could I run a command that would create that change in a set of given files?

Thanks!
Amanda

Amanda,

The only way to apply those settings to other files is to make changes
in one file with CLAN, then save the file and open it with some plain
text editor. Then copy the whole tier "@Color words:" to other data files.
