Thank you for this great tool.

However, lately i was not able to access the site using chrome. Are the servers down, or maybe there are some issues in my computer that i need to update?

Thank you!

Hi Maria,

Can you provide some more information -- when did the site stop working for you? What error message do you get? What operating system and version of chrome are you using? Have you tried using a different browser or different computer to access the site?

Thanks,
-Tali

Hi Tali,

Here are some additional information:

The problem started when i updated Windows 10 this week. My chrome is Version 59.0.3071.115 (64-bit). I am not getting any error message, the page just go blank, and does not load, i attached a screen cap.

Using the same computer, i can access the site using IE or MS edge.
I can continue using the site from these browsers, but i prefer to use chrome if possible.

Maybe there are some compatibility issues?

Thank you!

Hi Maria,

Can you provide the console output when you load the website in chrome? You can access the console by pressing Ctrl+Shift+J

Thanks!
-Tali

Hi Maria,

I unfortunately don’t have an answer for you yet, but I’ve created an issue on GitHub about this problem, so you can track progress on figuring out a solution at https://github.com/cBioPortal/cbioportal/issues/2873.

We did have success loading the website using Windows 10 and a slightly different version of Chrome (59.0.3071.86) so perhaps in the meantime you can revert to that older version or use IE.

Hi Tali,

Thank you for looking into this.
I will just revert to the chrome version, and see if it works.
