Hi,

Are the z scores calculated for each gene based on raw counts? normalized count? TPM or FPKM (from RSEM)?
Thanks

Aron

HI Aron,

The z scores are based on the normalized_count (RSEM): https://www.biostars.org/p/106127/

Thanks,

Hi Jianjiong,

In fact, I am referring to two files our collaborators downloaded :

data_RNA_Seq_v2_expression_median.txt
data_RNA_Seq_v2_mRNA_median_Zscores.txt

What type of RSEM data are they?
Thank you very much for your time.

Aron

Hi,

Actually, this is what I was referring to. Are the numbers :
normalized TPM?
z score based on counts?
Thank you !
Aron
