Do you recall that CATESOL will no longer support using Google Groups?!
According to the CATESOL-TOP Google Group (GG) list, there are 384 members.

HOWEVER

To date I've received only 66 replies to my message using our new Memberleap Message Board system posted one month ago. It was entitled "Reply Yes If You Can Read This Message From The New Top Message Board System". Why the great disparity?

There could be several reasons.
a) Members of GG signed on with multiple email addresses.
b) Members of GG are no longer members of CATESOL.
c) Members of GG were once teachers of pronunciation but aren't anymore yet didn't unsubscribe.
d) Members of GG received notification in Memberleap but neglected to reply.
e) Members of GG did not receive notification in Memberleap so could not reply.
f) What are other reasons?

You'll learn how to update your profile, ensure that your membership is current, and subscribe to Message Boards for interest groups, chapters, and levels. Thanks to Susan Gaer, CATESOL President 2019-2019, for content assistance for this presentation.

You'll also learn how to reply to ONE person instead of the WHOLE GROUP (I learned about that from all of the YES replies that went to the whole CATESOLTOP message board).

What if you want to be a member of a Message Board (= discussion group), but you don't want to be a full-fledged member of CATESOL? Well, the Board opened a new form of membership just for you! $20/year will allow you to participate in Message Boards (discussions). www.catesol.org.
