Any tricks to get QS to work on Catalina? Loads fine and works for a few minutes. Then it crashes and restarting it doesn't work, only restarting then computer fixes the issue. Also as a previous post mentioned, new locations for Applications means that not all available apps are catalogued. For example, nothing in the Utilities folder is accessible via QS. An update would be amazing, QS has become so essential in daily workflow for me over the years.

I think I fixed the crashes and was going to add the new Applications folder to the default catalog presets (you can do that manually in the meantime), but the code signing for Gatekeeper keeps failing with Xcode 11 so I haven’t gotten out a new release.

I installed Xcode 11.1 this morning, which might fix the code signing, but I doubt it. I’ll most likely have to set up a VM with an older OS and Xcode 9, which is a time consuming pain it the butt.

Anyway, if anyone wants to grab the source and build from the mainthread branch, you should get something that doesn’t crash (but won’t be signed).

Awesome, Rob. Thanks. I'll watch this thread and wait for an update.

Hi Rob,
Just curious if you've had any success with a new build?

Nope. Building goes smoothly, but code signing fails with no explanation
of why. I’ve even tried this with Xcode 9 on a VM running 10.13.

I'm trying to build the mainthread branch but it's erroring on https://github.com/quicksilver/Quicksilver/blob/4314536cc3ec7f3fe1c413b488071c8acaafcea0/Quicksilver/Code-QuickStepInterface/QSTextViewer.m#L45 because "

What version of macOS and Xcode are you using? I don’t think it will
build with Xcode 11. 9 or 10 should work, though.

Yes, I'm building with the latest xcode. I'll see if I can get a previous version via nix-darwin

Wout.
