Does anyone know anything about this brewery?

Hey guys, i found 3 of these glasses at the salvation army for $5! They are crystal and the image is etched into the glass. Do any of you know anything about this brewery!

I felt like I got a deal. I cant find anything like them on the internet.

                According to a spot on the internet, there is one big brewery in Utica, as it has been for over a 150 years. About as old as Corning, and like Corning has had some name changes. The last was in 1981 when it changed to one of it’s founders, F.X. Matt. It’s more popular beer has been Utica Club (Shultz and Dooley anyone?).

 

                It didn’t become The West End Brewing Company Inc. until 1933.

 

                However, in 1981-1982 it was also none as simply “West End Brewing Co.”

 

                You’d need to contact a FX Matt historian to figure out how old it is, based on the logo.
