Friday Chalk Talk 12/6 - Rule 18 & 2025 RRS changes

Hi Racers,

Quick note that the new Racing Rules of Sailing will be coming into effect 12/1/2025, and our Chowder series SIs 1.1 states “covered by the current” RRS.

To that end this Friday Paul Kamen has graciously offered to do a “Chalk Talk” this Friday on the major changes, specifically Rule 18. This is a good opportunity for anyone who is curious and wants to learn about the new rules but has not read them yet!

Food served at 7pm, talk starts around 7:30pm, and there will be a bartender…
