Hello all,

This Thursday is the last one in January, and thus we're having our monthly meeting|workshop|hackathon, the 1st one in 2017. We have the usual CBU meeting room from 13.00, but everybody is welcome to drop by whenever it fits, either for a brief chat, or for some hacking. Please bring your computer. See directions


Topic of the day:

• Versioning and sharing source code and other data, git, GitHub, etc., and social coding. At 13.00 I'll give an overview of these topics in a intro 101 crash course, and open for subsequent experience exchange. Both novices and experts in git are welcome, and everyone in-between! We'll discuss from total basics to brutally sophisticated features that may perhaps turn out interesting exactly for you ;-)

Standard things like every month:

•  Advise and discussions on software development and usage, community building, results sharing, licensing, etc.
•  Anything else related that you're interested in
  

Everybody who is interested is welcome!
