Hello,

I have ArduCopter 3.6 on my BBBlue. Everything works and I can fly. Flying is of no concern right now. I was wondering something.

...

Does the SiP need to become so hot? I was thinking that it must be the RX that I use w/ my transmitter. I power the RX by the  Servo Header Pins (5v).

...

I know that w/ ArduCopter, the people have figured out a nice way of communicating to the BBBlue via PRU (Encoder 4) from the hardware that I use.

Seth

P.S. If you are using your BBBlue for ArduCopter/ArduPilot stuff in general, please do not hesitate to post here. Again, my SiP is getting to hot to handle. bzzt, bzzt!

Hello,

I think I may have figured out my connection issues w/ GND and PRU on Encoder 4 on the BBBlue.

Seth

P.S. Time to fly!

P.S. If you get bored, please pitch in your ideas, e.g. constructive or not!

Hello,

Seth

P.S. I think it is already posted at that site on beagleboard.org/p. Um...I think the props are backwards or upside down for now. I will keep testing.

Hello Again,

The post is basic. I can elaborate some but first things first. I need to calibrate my radio, ESCs, and some other equipment.

Seth

P.S. Although this has been a work in progress, I will continue w/ it and post my findings soon.

Hello,

I should be able to get to calibration soon. Here is the latest in case you missed it: https://youtu.be/iBMujYvswHY.

Seth

P.S. If you have any ideas, shoot! Outside of calibrating things, ESCs and controller, I may be out of ideas.

Hey Sir,

Seth here. Jason, look here for the updated version with some more info. to tingle the senses.

Seth

P.S. Oops. Here it is: https://www.hackster.io/functt/a-long-awaited-drone-w-bbblue-and-ardupilot-0ee27b. If I listed it before, that is the updated version. Oh and I will produce a video soon w/ the flying bot. Two of my propellers are on upside down and the binding came undone somehow. I had to rebind the TX/RX again. Phew!
