I need to buy a decent small refrigerator, dorm-size or a little bigger, with at least some freezing capabilities. Probably hard to find one where the two compartments are separate, but I have seen some that are pretty small. Does anyone have any recommendations for one that worked for you, and didn't take two years to off-gas first? I think for the most part those smaller ones don't have any wireless stuff connected, but that's definitely another issue I need to avoid.
Thanks.

A number of years ago (maybe 4) I found a great small fridge that had a separate freezing section. As you probably know, having a separate freezer is pretty essential since the dorm size ones, with an open freezer section in the main compartment, are pretty useless to store frozen food. The one i found was by Frigedaire (to the best of my recollection, not sure of spelling) and only cost $300. It was like having a real refrigerator, just a lot smaller.

Thanks, appreciate that. Did it have to off-gas for a while before you could use it? It looks to me like all those little fridges are plastic. Was the outside of your fridge made of plastic or metal?
