Bareos Backup not working, it keeps getting errors while backing up

BareOS backup keeps failing, can anyone advise?

Please see the configuration from the /etc/bareos/bareos-dir.d/client/test.conf from nbareos server

Client {

  Name = test

  Description = "Client resource of the Director itself."

 Address = backup.sinealpha.com

 # Address = localhost

Error is right in the message

backup.sinealpha.com doesn’t resolve to an IP address on the server.


make sure it resolves from your server with `host` or `nslookup` commands.
