Hi Everyone!

Best Wishes to all BAPA members for 2026!  Thank you to everyone who has
posted to BAPA, or read a BAPA email, last year.

I'm not sure what is happening with the campaign to unfreeze our
pensions at the moment, but I hope to catch up with BPiA soon, and then
I'll send out an update.  If anyone has any news on what is happening,
please do post to the group.

BAPA is always looking for new members, so if you meet a frozen
pensioner in 2026, why not encourage them to join us.  Joining is easy. 
People just need to email me at bapac...@yahoo.com and I'll guide
them through the process of joining the group.

And if you can afford it, please consider supporting BPiA
http://bpia.org.au/ so that they can continue to pay for the campaign
that they are running.

I look forward to seeing your posts in 2026.

I’ll do what I can to help. Ive been frozen for 23 years so far, and on top of that CSd has withheld my entire Civil Service Pension for 2.5 years of service as the earliest promoted to Principal in the MoT for the same period.

Hi Everyone,

Happy New Year to all BAPA members.

I am the Facebook administrator for BPiA and also a BAPA member.  I think that says it all.  We need to work together to make a change, to make our voice heard we are stronger together.  

BAPA is a great forum for British Pensioners in Australia to talk about the things that matter to them and to support each other and assist each other with information.

BPiA is hoping to expand its activities this year and one of the things it intends to do is to hold more Webinars on subjects relating to Frozen Pensions and issues that affect British Pensioners here in Australia.  As BPiA Facebook administrator I will be pubisising these Webinars in advance.  Please look out for them as they  can be very useful explaining how changes in regulations affect Frozen British Pensions and helping people make the most of the pensions they have.  British Pensioners deserve to be  treated equally and they have justice on their side.  

I look forward to 2026 and working with BAPA and BPiA in promoting and moving forward in a just cause.
