Is it possible to create a flow shortcut to the Android desktop ?

When you create a home screen widget for Automate, it will prompt you which flow to start when that widget is pressed.

It would be great if that widget would display the current state of the selected flow (if it is running or not). Is that possible?

Currently not possible. I'm already considering such a feature. But it wouldn't be whether the flow is running or not , but rather an "active" input argument, like how the Quick Settings tile show block works.
