How to use the backtick ("`")?

I don't think this works: keyboard.send_keys("<ctrl>+`").

The backtick is the key to the left of "1".

Works fine for me using the Beta release, but I don't think anything
relevant to this has changed since 0.95.10 or ever.

If you want send a backtick, do it without the <ctrl>.

I don't know of anything that needs a ctrl+`, so I ran an AutoKey trace
and it showed that AutoKey was sending it as desired.

What is it supposed to be doing for you - with what application?

Is there more to your script that may be affecting things?

I would need to see your entire script. And, also, to know which application you are using it in. I would go one further than Joe, and I would also like to know which Desktop Environment you are using it in?

Not on my keyboard. Left of 1 is §. Backtick is to the right of the question-mark, that is two steps to the right of 0. I'm sure there are many more variations, depending on language etc.

except where the a keyname is mentioned in <>'s for example <ctrl>, autokey should send the remaining string litterals. Johnny are you the user that opened this thread? If so, to the three things I asked for, i would like to know which keyboard layout you have.
