hey. so we have a super kind tutor who is willing and able to teach! i
can get us a projector and all that jazz here where i work in mountain
view. i'm going to arbitrarily say Tuesday August 12th.

tell me you want to be here, or tell me a better date, or tell me your
office has better snacks so we can all come to your place instead. but
tell me something.

ok i can ask the teacher if they're into that. it would be a stretch
goal. i do not want to waste any time on technical office meeting
mumbo jumbo -- too many meetings where half of it is just getting the
&@#$*ing projector to turn on.

Yeah, my experience is also that video conferencing is seldom not problematic, so maybe recording should be the target.

6:30pm until ~8pm (our teacher is on East Coast time vs. our West
Coast time so we shouldn't ask them to say up *too* late)

yes, the 13th is quite possible.

I'm trying to flush people out of the bushes and get a date that
really works where people will really show up :-) i know that often at
the last minute i have to cancel due to work or because i run out of
energy and turn chicken...

so who else can/not make the 13th?!! it will be great! i should spam
the bay area functional groups maybe (f#, ocaml). :-)
