currently auditing the (Oracle ATG web commerce) that is used by one of my clients; Oracle provides hosting and administration services to the client, . I have a few queries :

o What are their (my client) administration privileges on the system , in terms of control access and changes ?

o Do they have access to view the audit trail ? or they have to request it
from Oracle ?

o They have provided me with an audit trail (excel sheet) , is it the only format to export the audit trail ?

o Is there a way to know the number of users who actually using the application (back end operations)

o What about Backup ? how is coordinated between oracle and customer ? how long (on average) does it take to restore data from Oracle ATG?

I have normally seen read only access to servers. Run time configurations in ATG are done using Dynamo Console which should not be accessible to your client either.

There is no set audit trail though clients normally have read only access to system (logs)and have to request for anything investigative.

Not sure.

If you mean back end operations as in BCC/CSC then yes, users are stored in database. you will have to request Oracle for access to that.

Few hours
