Situation:
Astronomy.net online page
shows the object of interest in the annotated image
(NGC 7000). The center of the object is not within the image.
(image temporaryly made vsisible, content is copyrighted material: http://nova.astrometry.net/user_images/4258515#annotated - Copyright: Yannick Akar 2020, https://www.astrobin.com/373826/?nc=use ) .
Expected behaviour:
The object NGC 7000 is part of the annotated image at astrometry.net and therefore should be also part of the annotations info.
Errors:
The annotations don't show the object:
http://nova.astrometry.net/api/jobs/4824414/annotations , only stars:
{"annotations": [{"type": "hd", "names": ["HD 199580"], "pixelx": 2434.8601208619893, "pixely": 141.36468572431147, "radius": 0.0},
[...]
{"type": "hd", "names": ["HD 200407"], "pixelx": 246.3550087463518, "pixely": 1447.0871923927798, "radius": 0.0}]}
Therefore the image is not shown in a custom program (website), only the stars:
Question:
Why astrometry .net page shows the NGC 7000 and it can be seen in the annotated image, whereas the annotation data shows nothing. I think, this is a common case, that an object-centre is not within the image. This is the case with a lot of big deep sky objects.
I wish anyone a happy new year:
Thanks for you reply. Any help would be appreciated.
