Hello,

I use Anytone 878 so when I send Aprs packet data via device. There is no device information on the map.

Why?

Hello,

The packets being transmitted here (https://aprs.fi/?c=raw&call=TA2UBW-7)
use a generic APRS destination callsign instead of a callsign which would
specify a device make or model.

The Anytone 878 has been allocated a tocall of APAT81 which would signal
the device model correctly
(https://github.com/hessu/aprs-deviceid/blob/master/tocalls.yaml).

Heikki, are you aware of any new/recent issues with Anytone APRS data not appearing in Aprs.fi?  There's a Groups.io post (https://groups.io/g/ANYTONE-878/message/1815) about this, and I'm also experiencing the same behavior.  I have confirmed that my TOCALL is APAT81 (I've tried both APAT81-0 and APAT81-1), I'm receiving APRS direct from the Anytone on another radio, and the Anytone packets are repeating through my local digis.

It has been about a year since I used this Anytone radio for APRS, but as I recall Aprs.fi was showing packets in the past.  I did apply a firmware update to the APRS board, V1.06 is the latest, so perhaps that has changed something?

No, not aware of anything. I'm cut-and-pasting the basic problem
reporting instructions from https://groups.google.com/g/aprsfi :

If you're having a problem, please start by reading the Troubleshooting
section of the user guide.
https://aprs.fi/doc/guide/aprsfi-troubleshooting.html

If the troubleshooting section does not help, and you need to post the
discussion group, please describe your problem with as much detail as
possible. If some APRS packets are not showing on aprs.fi, or are
displayed incorrectly, please provide a link to the page with the error,
and mention the exact callsign-SSID being used to transmit the packets
(for example: OH7AA-9). Describe in clear terms what is currently shown
erroneously, and what would be the expected correct behaviour.
