Change the AnkiDroid directory

Hello dear Ankidroiders,

i tried to change the AnkiDroid directory in my phone to the added
sdcard a few times now, but every time i try it i get a "the path
specified wasn't a valid directory" message.
i change "/sdcard/AnkiDroid" to "/extSdCard/AnkiDroid" or
"/storage/extSdCard/AnkiDroid" or any variation of capitalised letters
but nothing helps.
what do i do wrong?

I don't know the correct path to the SD card on your phone and even then it might not work, see: https://github.com/ankidroid/Anki-Android/wiki/FAQ#my-ankidroid-files-are-stored-on-a-sd-card-how-can-i-point-ankidroid-to-them
