Some decided to take the road, some the trail, some to the ferry landing, others to the Fort George Bridge. The rumble strips and associated debris, construction with flaggers controlling one lane traffic were discussed at the ride start to help people decide which route to take. Club member Bob from South Carolina joined the ride today. Guest Mike from Miami tagged along from the start to the Nassau River bridge. He is in town assessing Amelia Island for retirement which will start in a year. Jack, Skeeter, Mike and I were riding together with the plan to get on the boardwalk and take the trail. Part way down the boardwalk Jack and I didn't see anyone behind us. We turned back only to find Skeeter and Mike chatting before Mike turned and went north. Glad they were both okay.
Thanks to Amy for co-leading and submitting the mileage report!
Tech Tip: Discussions at the start made it clear that some people would like to have an icon on their phone to click and get straight to the NFBC website. For those with an iPhone > open the website NFBC.us with Safari on your phone > click share (the square with an arrow pointing up) > select Home Screen from the drop down. This will put an icon on your iPhone allowing you to get to the website with one click.
For those with other types of phones, I refer you to my good friend AI who will surely provide the steps.
