I sell standard poodle puppies. I recently sold an AKC registered red
poodle puppy to a woman in Maine named Wendy Pietraszwski, of 405 Taber Hill
Rd., Vasdalboro, ME 04989, for $2,500.

Wendy hired a transportation company to take the puppy from my home is
Saluda, SC to her home in Vasdalboro, ME. The puppy was in the van for 3 ½
to 4 days.

My vet. Dr Jeff Nordin did a through exam of the puppy and certified (in
writing) that the puppy was healthy and able to travel. When the
transportation company picked up the puppy she was healthy. The puppy has
two sisters that still live at my house and they continue to grow and
thrive. The two sisters are healthy and well.

Wendy Pietraszwski says that she is going to say all kinds of nasty things
about me on Facebook, AKC Marketplace and Puppy Find.com. These are three
of the major marketing routes that I use to sell puppies. Wendy said her
puppy is underweight and sickly. Wendy says that she has spent a lot of
money on an unhealthy puppy. The fact is that the puppy was healthy at my
house. Either the transportation company or Wendy could have caused this
puppy to become sick. If the puppy was sick for 4 days, while traveling
from SC to ME, she could have become dehydrated and underweight. Four days
is a long time for a puppy to be in transient, especially if she was
throwing up and not eating.

When Wendy received the puppy, she could have registered the puppy with AKC
to receive 30 days of free health insurance coverage. If she didn’t
register the puppy right away, then she would suffer the cost of vet bills.
Wendy also complains that the puppy’s tail is not docked (cut to show
length.) AKC says that this is cosmetic and completely optional. Wendy
never asked me if the puppy’s tail was docked before she bought the puppy.
The subject never came up. My vet says that Wendy can have the tail docked
with local anesthesia for approximately $200.

The bottom line is that the puppy was certified healthy when it left with
the transportation company. I had no control over what happened to the
puppy after she left my care. However, that has not stopped Wendy from
threatening to publish unkind and untrue things about me to defame me and my
business.

Can you help me? Can you write her a letter to make her aware of her
consequences. Afterall, she has no proof that she or the transportation
company didn’t do something wrong to the puppy. On the other hand, I have
proof that a healthy puppy left my home with the transportation company that
she hired.

Robert doesn't have the funds needed to pay for probate, and we're not entirely sure we'll be able to get a clear title and close with this current situation.

Would you possibly be willing to run a quick search on what it'll take to clear this? And if we're able to close on it, we'll pay you for your services on the backend, and/or you can attach a lien on the property so that when it sells you'll get paid at that point?

On this Monday morning September 1, 2021 I wasn’t feeling good at working for tree service company at a house in the Kiawah island community (Rawson Services) and I fell out of a tree about 10 feet everyone knew that I could not work any more but I did not want to tell my boss because he has a temper and would fire me for not completing the job since I am the only caucasian I have to stay to talk to the homeowners due to the fact that the other three workers or Hispanic and don’t speak good English . I told me to go to the doctor and get tested for Covid because on our property at work there’s a landscaping company and some of the guys next-door tested positive for Covid and were out sick I told my boss I was not feeling good and wanted to go get tested the previous Friday but he said he would fire me if I didn’t come to work. So on Monday morning at work none of the three Hispanics wanted to be around me because I was extremely ill looking. When I fell they told me to call my boss and report the injury. But I was scared because his Moto is your fired before you hit the ground . He threatens to fire us often because he wants the job completed in a timely fashion. So I didn’t want to call my boss Mr. Randy Rawson the owner of my company. I was informed by my coworkers they called him and told him about the injury . He told me to go to MUSC to get checked out but only for Covid . On the phone with him he told me to take the other coworker who does not speak English and is not a legal US citizen with me back to the shop due to the fact that he rode with me to the job site and was afraid that he might be sick with Covid as well . I told my boss that I didn’t feel good and was extremely sick and didn’t want to drive with blurred vision. I asked my boss if he could come back to the job site where we were working at to give me a ride to MUSC to go get checked out. But he refused to come back to the homeowners house we were working at and give me in the other guy I work with a ride to the hospital. So I had to drive back to the shop with the other coworker. My girlfriend came and picked me up from work and took me to the hospital but the hospital emergency room was extremely packed and short staffed so we decided to wait and come back so once I was finally seen and treated by the emergency room I was told I had suffered a brain injury and a severe concussion. I sent my boss a text message explaining that I was upset confused and extremely sorry for my poor performance that Monday at work . I really love working at Rawson Services learning how to remove trees and being out in nature but mostly I love my job because it’s The highest paying job I’ve ever had in my life. I was just told this morning that I was fired and that I was lying about falling. So I’m seeking an experienced attorney and was wondering if this is something Anastopoulo Law firm could help me with .

I am currently seeking an attorney to draft a demand letter, on my behalf, to Mitsubishi Motors North America, Inc.

My vehicle is being affected by a transmission Safety Recall.  My vehicle matches the: year, make, model, plant location, manufacture date, production series, and part number of the recall.  However, Mitsubishi never notified me of the recall, nor did they include my specific vehicle identification number (VIN) amongst their list of affected vehicles. 

Numerous attempts to contact Mitsubishi, and notify them of their mistake, have been fruitless.  I have also asked customer service agents of Mitsubishi, on three occasions, for the specific reason my vehicle was not being included in the recall.  The first two explanations were proven false, and acknowledged, the final explanation offered was, “I don’t know.”  I have now been informed that my case is closed. 

I have taken my vehicle to the nearest Mitsubishi dealership, in Georgia, and the dealership has confirmed my vehicle's transmission is, in fact, being affected by the condition stated in the transmission safety recall. Apologetically, the dealership was unable to perform the necessary repair because my vehicle's VIN did not appear on the list issued by Mitsubishi.  The mechanic at the dealership, when asked specifically why my vehicle wasn't being included, responded, "It should be". 

The out-of-pocket costs for the repair are estimated in excess of $7,000.00.  I have already paid the expenses for two inspections; one at Mitsubishi, the other at Meineke Car Care Center.  Both were able to independently confirm my vehicle is being affected by the condition stated in the recall. 

It is my belief that Mitsubishi is acting in bad faith.  Aside from giving me repeated misinformation, they will not communicate with me to discuss their mistake; nor will Mitsubishi offer any explanation as to why my affected vehicle is not being included for repair. 

Mitsubishi's violations of basic Safety Recall Procedures have cost me time, expense, and earnest distress.  While I have, and continue to, itemize the economic losses directly related to the catastrophic failure of my vehicle, at this time I am only asking that Mitsubishi honor the terms of the recall and repair my vehicle. 

I've done all the leg-work, documentation, and have written a simple demand letter.  I'd ask an attorney review my letter, make any necessary edits, adjustments, or suggestions and submit it to Mitsubishi Motors.  It's my hope that a simple demand letter, for either repair, replacement, or refund, will force Mitsubishi to acknowledge their error and make me whole.

My daughter who had TBI went in the hospital for a minor surgery (Bacoflen pump replacement) and came out with complications.  She started having a hard time breathing, heart rate started going up, and she also caught a fever.. she had to get put in ICU do to they didn't know what was causing it.. they started doing test and everything came back normal, a couple days later they came to the conclusion that she aspirated while in surgery. They was treating her for that and while treating her she was on a breathing machine she was congested and fever still was uncontrolled. After about a week they sent her home, they said she was breathing good enough to go and but was still congested. She came home and we just continue giving her breathing treatment  and suctioning her do to her being so congested still.. 2 weeks later she died..  Even through she was disable she was one disable child  that rarely gotten sick, never had to get hospitalized unless she was having surgery.. I'm just a mother trying to figure out what really happen to my daughter.

When I replied to your email in this chain, I received an error from the alfl...@googlegroups.com email address.  So it looks like there is an issue when someone tries to email the alfl...@googlegroups.com email group.

Is ALFL...@googlegroups.com a mailbox people can log into, or just an email distribution list?

In either case I'm thinking this might be an email deliverability problem and we should improve how the emails are sent. But for this I will need a bit of help from an email administrator.

When someone creates a new "@akimlawfirm.com" mailbox and email address, who usually sets that up?

I mention this because I think the email deliverability will be improved if we can make a new mailbox, something like "notifi...@akimlawfirm.com", and then connect the site to that mailbox to send the emails.

If there is an IT contact who handles mailboxes, can you introduce them to us?

Until June 25th I was employed by an elected (county) official, who was emotionally and verbally abusive, for over five years.  Two weeks after receiving a statewide award for my service and achievements, I was terminated - allegedly for "sending an inappropriate message".  The message, which was true, non-threatening and sent from a personal device on personal time, was in response to the elected official and another employee making negative comments related to my award.  I had been nominated for the award by the elected official; however, this was only intended to be a reciprocal gesture.  I was instructed to nominate her for a different award and would be nominated in return.  Unfortunately for me, she did not win.

While employed, my mental and physical health declined due to the way that I was treated, the toxic environment cultivated by the elected official, and the extreme, ever-changing expectations.  I endured, and intended to continue doing so, despite the detriment, because I truly felt that the work I was doing was my calling.  The actual work was never an issue for me. 

Since being terminated my physical health has improved somewhat, but I have contemplated ending my life on a daily basis.  The financial impact has been huge and is only worsened by my crippling depression (a product of the trauma inflicted by an elected official and a system that has rendered me helpless in such a scenario). 

There is so much more to the story, and I would appreciate any assistance.
