A FRAMEWORK  FOR GLOBAL INTELLIGENCE ON AFRICAN AFFAIRS

Thanks for sharing this, Tunji.
It may be a blessing in disguise. The NLA has been looking for a way to improve the Nation's bad image around the world. This looks to me like a low hanging fruit, ripe for plucking. Ted could be liable for defamation, libel or slander.

Generally speaking, defamation is the issuance of a false statement about another person, which causes that person to suffer harm. Slander involves the making of defamatory statements by a transitory (non-fixed) representation, usually an oral (spoken) representation. Libel involves the making of defamatory statements in a printed or fixed medium, such as a magazine or newspaper. All of which Ted seems to have violated with his public statement.

Why not look into it or make a public statement about it. You will get support from Washington and perhaps others around the world. It will certainly provide a distraction to the Tea Party's momentum and provide Nigeria an opportunity to re-brand itself. Note that the true definition of slave refer to those who can not govern and defend themselves. I really hope that Nigeria is not a lame duck or some kind of nominal nation.

When people speak about America as the land of opportunity, this is exactly what they are talking about. I hope our people are prepared to respond fast enough for goodluck!

Best wishes,

Call Senator Ted Cruz On (202) 224-5922 or (512) 916-5834 or (214)-599-8749 And Tell Him That You Are Disappointed By His Insensitive Comment About Nigerians!

Republican Senator Ted Cruz Compared The Glitches Plaguing The Website For President Barack Obama’s Signature Health Care Law To “Nigerian email scammers.”

Nigerians In The Diaspora Categorically And Unequivocally Condemn This Irresponsible Comment Made By The US Senator.

Nigerians Are Hardworking And Progressive People With A Proud History Of Integrity. The US Senator Should Apologize To The Nigerian People.

There Are Thousands Of Nigerian-Americans In Texas Whose Vote The Senator Will Need In The Next Election. We Will See Him In The Pooling Booth!!!!
