Error while mutating Local, Performance Max or Smart Campaigns

Hi there,
we are getting an API error while mutating (mutation as simple as `status` update) campaigns of types [Local, Performance Max or Smart].
-->  Is this expected for these campaign types?

This issue has been raised few months back by someone else for smart campaigns https://groups.google.com/g/adwords-api/c/be6PQdiCzyQ/m/opF8oDsIAwAJ or https://groups.google.com/g/adwords-api/c/kmlY-TGhzGY/m/eKARlf_PDgAJ but still no update on the availability post that.

--> The API migration date is not very further away, kindly provide with a resolution for mutating these types.

If required I can present the detailed log.
