Dear colleagues,
First, I would like to wish you all the best in the new year! Let you light scattering simulations be faster and more
accurate than you expect!
Second, let me bring your attention to a Python wrapper for ADDA -
https://github.com/aquilesC/plasmon_adda . Actually,
Aquiles Carattino has created it 11 years ago, but he has recently updated it to become even more useful. Especially, I
appreciate the design explanation at
https://github.com/aquilesC/plasmon_adda/blob/main/docs/tutorial.md . While there
are already many Python wrappers for ADDA and more will appear in the future, I recommend everyone, who is developing
(or thinking about) his own wrapper, to at least read this file. Not sure if there will ever be the one "official"
wrapper, but I think that reusing best practices from existing wrappers is definitely a way to go.
Maxim.
