Notebooks:

I ordered these to make sure the notebook was going to integrate into my life the way I wanted:
https://a.co/d/09CpCzqL (8 notebooks for $8)

Then, when I decided that I really liked them and noticed that my phone scraping across the covers in my pocket was damaging the cover and the first few pages, I designed the 3D printed cover. After testing the cover and really enjoying it, I ordered a tough, premium notebook for everyday carry use:
https://a.co/d/0bwBFfhh (3 notebooks for $14)

I have the cheap notebooks scattered around for when I want to write down a thought and want to not turn on my digital distractinator (phone).

Interesting! The covers on those little 8-packs - they look like plastic covers - but, I suspect they are cardboard.

The ones you can write on in the rain - those are not paper pages - obviously. Right?

As for your " digital distractinator" - that is truly funny!

The covers on the cheap notebooks are a light cardstock. They are fine for 99% use cases.

The covers on the Rite-in-the-Rain are nice, heavy, wear proof plastic with many useful features - rulers, scales (for maps) conversion tables. They are pretty slick. In many senses, my custom covers are actually a downgrade. 😄

Downgrade maybe -- but an Upgrade to the Cardstock...
