xnoise media player v0.2.13 and it's plugins are released.

First time dialog is not translated. The strings were removed from po file.

Also, watch the "about" dialog: It still say 0.2.12!

Secondly, the option "Use Application Menu" in settings do the opposites.
If 1, it hides menu, and if 0, it's shown.

In addition, I can't see the new 3X3 squares, since no libubuntuui exist in my machine.
Well, hope there will be support for this features by other providers(by plugin).

Lastly, plugins activation in setting should be disabled(grayed-texted) if wasn't built.

I'll send you in private the he.po file and Debian files.

the About dialog says 0.2.13 for me in the ppa version. I don't know why
it is showing the wrong version for you.

Yes sure, if "Use Application Menu" = 1 xnoise hides the standard menu
bar and shows the application menu button (upper right corner for LTR
layout). Using this button, the app menu is opened. Give it a try.

libubuntuoneui is only necessary for the ubuntu music store plugin. If
you don't have it, that particular plugin will not be created but still
the player should work as expected. The "3X3 squares" button toggles the
visibility of the album art view and it is not related to libubuntuoneui
at all.

The plugins dialog is dynamically build. At least for the plugin part.
That means if a plugin wasn't build it is not there (even not as grey
text).


Hope that lightens some things up. Maybe by accident you started the
0.2.12 version of the player? (That would explain why you didn't see the
album art view and you had the wrong version number in the about
dialog.)

Yes, my bad, you were right(I thought it closed Xnoise, but it didn't).

However, the "Use Application Menu" does confusing(app menu is the regular menu).
I suggest a simpler form, "Compact Menu".

Also, note that the 3X3 button relief is ReliefStyle.NORMAL. In your theme, you can't see the difference.
I suggest you set the relief to ReliefStyle.NONE.
Again, no difference in your theme.

Just change your theme to simpler one to see how the toggle button pop into the eyes.

So there are no fundamental problems with the current release.
