Hi Jeff,  yes, in the Pro version, the extracting theme can meet your requirements. For free version, maybe you can check about the files at, plugins\org.xmind.ui.resources_3.2.1.201011162224

Sincerely!

Hi all,

New to mind mapping and loving XMind.  So this is a newbie question as I'm still learning how to extract the full benefit from XMind.  Nothing jumped out in the forum history as I scanned through.

I like having my 2nd tier entries to be boxed instead of underlined.  Is there a way I can make that the default behaviour?  Currently I double click the clear 'terminator' shape as I build up the map for the 2nd tier items.
ie  project (boxed - default)
     - major elements (boxed - default)
        - sub elements (boxed - manual)   <<<---- this bit I want to make default)
          - tasks/owners/notes (underlined - default)

I think the answer is pay for the pro version, create a personalised theme, and make that theme the default.  But I would like to check first that I not missing something more obvious.

Thanks, Jeff.

thanks for the tip!

Have worked out how to tweak the xml's so that the 'business' style defaults to my most of my preferences
2nd tier to boxed - done
3rd tier is now boxed - but is ok will keep digging when I have time
relationships to oragne, arrow each end, dash-dot, and thin - done

Ta, Jeff.
