It's not convenient to identify the contrast by "spmT_***.img". It's better to display the contrast name which defined in SPM, such as: 2back vs 0back.

You are absolutely right. Unfortunately the contrast name is not included in spmT_*.img.

In principle we can allow xjview to select the SPM.mat file as the input, but we thought it's more straightforward to use the image file itself.

Hello
Being an admirer of xjView, I kind of had the same critique. So I made a workaround i.e. an additional window where you can load the SPM.mat load into. From the listed contrasts there you can simply click on one (or several while holding the ctrl key) and they are sent to the xjView window. Moreover you can easily browser over analyses and/or subjects, given your data is organised systematically.

The whole thing is a separate function that only needs to be copied into xjView.

If you are interested you can find more here:

Thanks Xu Cui et al. for xjView, it is awesome!

Cheers
Christoph

Great work, Christoph.

I played with it and find it very useful (although the function name is called browseXJ instead of xjViewBrowser, which you want to make them consistent).

Let's think if there is a way to make your program work seamlessly with xjview without modifying any code.

Best,

Xu

Thank you Xu

It's true, there were some bugs on the website, which I patched now:
- downloading should work better now
- the builder function is available now, that merges the two programs automatically
- the most recent version 0.322 is available now
- added some screenshots of version 0.322

Best,
Christoph
