Hi,

I'm trying to get an install of WikiPublisher working on my Ubuntu 12.04 laptop. The short version is I started working with Hugh of PressBooks.

Basically, as a test, I'm trying to pipe one of your pages through my server. (I got the URL by navigating your wiki)

Example:

The results I get are appended below.

The relevant errors are:

**** XSLTPROC
tbcommon.xsl: couldn't determine source path; no Saxon 6.5.x (relax)
warning: failed to load external entity "/home/dac514/code/PressBooks/_unversioned/wikibook-1.2.1/xml/tbook-temp-file-bib.xml"
xsltApplySequenceConstructor: fallback was not compiled
[..snip..]

Anyone seen anything like this?

Installed so far:

$ sudo apt-get install perlmagick
$ sudo apt-get install texlive-latex-base
$ sudo apt-get install xindy
$ sudo apt-get install xsltproc
$ sudo apt-get install libxml2-utils
$ sudo apt-get install g++

Commands run so far:

$ sudo texhash
$ fmtutil --missing
$ sudo fmtutil-sys --all

Thank you for your time.

Hi all,

I figured it out. Was missing some substantial parts of Latex on my machine. Resolved doing:

$ sudo apt-get install texlive-latex-recommended
$ sudo apt-get install texlive-fonts-recommended
$ sudo apt-get install texlive-latex-extra
$ sudo apt-get install texlive-fonts-extra

Best regards,

John Rankin

That's it! I was going to say, you need to install texlive-full. FWIW, I
am running a test version on Ubuntu 12.04 and so far it has been extremely
robust.

PS Check that you have installed texlive-lang-hebrew which will allow
PressBooks to support a Hebrew language plug-in, coming soon...

Thanks John,

`textlive-full` installs everything, including the hebrew package.

So far so good.
