Due to a healthy showing of passengers and cycles, Cardiff Bus operated a 3rd vehicle on the B1 service to Brecon in the form of Dennis Dart LMPD - 226 - CN53 AKJ today. It is seen prior to departure from Cardiff (Central Bus Station).

Full marks to Cardiff for being able to cover for the extra passengers, just a shame they didnt get a Scania decker out instead!

Several are capable of 100kph/62mph, 460, 461, 468, 472 and one or two others IIRC.

Probably would not be too popular, as many senior citizens use the service, and would not be happy with the stairs. Also the constant BBC news on the tv's would be unwelcome.
