I've not actually organized anything yet - theoretically it would have been Wednesday this week.

Anyone interested in going out for a drink after work on Wednesday???

Also, in terms of meeting topics, does anyone know anyone at any of the local game dev companies that you think could present on something interesting? I don't know anyone, hence me asking. If you do could you put me in contact with them and I'll see if I can get something organised for next month.

I have a GDC talk I can go through if you like, but it might not be totally relevant - it's about some tech I wrote for KZ3. Preview here would let you know what to expect, although I'd want to skip over the hard bits:

ugh, so this totally slipped my mind as my life is a bit hectic at the moment.  I have nothing organised, nor a venue.  So the best I can suggest is drinks somewhere like at the southern cross after work.

Hi  All,

I'm keen to say hello if I can squeeze in the time.  I've been out of the loop due to me being busy packing & organizing over 10 years of living in NZ to move back to Melbourne in a few weeks.  That's the big reason I can't offer to help organize meet-ups lately.  

There are lots of bars on Courtney Place.  I quite like the Library, Ancestral or Betty's Function House myself but people may have a more limited budget so I am not sure about good cheaper bars in that vicinity...?

Anyway...Wednesday night could be good.  May I recommend Ancestral as my pick?
