Remaining estimate filter in Release Forecast not accurate...

Hi,

In the Release Forecast, we can use the 'Set parameters' action to set a value for the remaining estimate. For my project, it identifies 742 story points for my whole backlog, and 166 for a specific Feature Group.

The problem is that when I look at the data, I have 689 story points in my backlog, and 115 for this feature group. These values are confirmed by the report 'Estimate Trend'.

Do some of you have an explanation for these discrepancy?

HI;

It seems as if you might be looking at the Release Forecast page that does not necessarily include closed items and might not match up with the data displayed on the Release Scheduling box. Have you filtered in your backlog to include closed items? Hope this helps!
