It's my youngest sons b'day and his monitor crashed I was looking for a couple of 24 " monitors to replace his old ones. Looking for new stock at good price if anyone has a lead to a vendor
He is a serious gamer so the quality has to be there

Microcenter usually has some good deals:

They seem to have a few in the sub-$200 range.

Dell is a reliable brand for monitors if you don't mind paying a bit extra.

Newegg also seems to have some good deals:

Good luck!

From conversations with Micro Center employees, I would go with Newegg, apparently they have better items for the same prices usually (although micro center has really good deals on other things).

The nice thing about going through a store is that you can usually test the monitors to make sure they don't have stuck pixels or whatever.

To do this, fire up MS Paint and make a big box filled with pure red, and drag around the screen.

Do this again with pure blue, and pure green, and then black, and white. Make sure nothing sticks out.

I'd be hesitant to have one shipped because of my past poor experience with travelling monitors.
