"Edit HTML" Button Disappeared?

I go to my Tumblr Customize page to edit the HTML of my theme -- and now the "Edit HTML" button is completely missing.

Tried in both Chrome and Firefox.

Is anyone else experiencing this?

Yup, experiencing the same thing, Safari, Chrome & Firefox.
Was editing yesterday but obviously can't get to the HTML today.
My other Tumblr account works just fine. Confused!

I have the same problem.

I thought it may be that they disabled it on sub blogs but it seems to work on all of my additional blogs apart from one which is random (neither the oldest or newest, or most recently posted on or least...) I can't see anything distinguishable about the only blog that won't let me edit the theme.

It's not just the button that's not there, the #editor_pane exists in the html but the #editor just contains an ellipsis...

Please solve this soon, not being able to edit my business' blog is going to be a real pain in the ass.

Yea, our blog is not a sub, it's the main blog.

Are y'alls Ask & Submit boxes also not working?

I emailed Tumblr support and they just sent me back some generic response. Nothing helpful.

Everyone who has this problem:  Email Tumblr Support Now.

I have the same problem too! It's on my sub blog and all my ask / submit / reply boxes aren't working along with the dissapearance of the "Edit HTML" button.

I posted a question on Yahoo! Answers (http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20120622050241AANSmEx) to see if anyone has a solution, but I'm emailing tumblr right now to alert them of the issue because it's quit seriously affecting my blog right now!

Good to know I'm not alone ;D

Everyone email Tumblr:  sup...@tumblr.com   or at the bottom of  http://www.tumblr.com/help

They brushed off my complaints with a standard "form email response" and linked me to this page: 

http://www.tumblr.com/docs/en/custom_code

Obviously this is not the problem. The problem is a Tumblr Bug, and they need to know about it, and fix it pronto. The more people who alert them, the better. Because like I said, they just brushed me off.

Have also mailed support, as well as a message via Twitter (As this may be seen sooner)
Definitely seems to be a bug, but sure they'll sort it out once they're alerted regarding numerous users.

Yup! Thanks everyone for bringing this problem to their attention -- because Tumblr does not regularly monitor (or provide any input) to the discussions on this Google Group (not to my knowledge, anyway). So sending those support emails is important.  Squeeky wheels get the grease, eh?

Seems as though mine is back to normal now.

Received a mail from support to say it had already been rectified before they checked it out.

Hope everyone else has had the same result!

I've had the same problem for 4 days now and nothing seems to work. Has anybody managed to rectify it manually?

Rachel,

I had to email Tumblr's Support team  (sup...@tumblr.com)  and they were able to fix the problem.

Take a screen shot of your browser window with the "Missing Button", and attach it to an email to Tumblr Support.
