Do they have _real_ cheese ? Anything Gouda-like would be h-uuuuu-geee. I would shoot for something around 1kg, preferably sliced, for, say, not much more 1500 JPY ? If that is unreal - stop looking. Simple cheese - real cheese - in huge amounts! I want to teleport back home for just that .

For me Costco in Japan is a place where Americans can feel themselves like at home: big sizes of everything, English-speaking stuff, tags, food mostly from US that make it not only familiar but healthier after last-year events. You can buy a TV for example and return it in a week with no any explanation (I heard about it but never really did it).

BTW. I saw sliced Red Cheddar there, and that Gouda is from Europe, not US.

That's the problem, and the reason why Lauren asked on the list.
Costco is a co-op store, and you need a membership to shop there. It's
pretty common to find someone who is a member and ask them to buy
stuff for you. It's also pretty common to not have a membership,
because if you buy in bulk (remember, it's a warehouse store) you
don't need to shop there more than a few times a year.

If you remember, could you look at prices for car/boat 12v batteries
to work with our solar charger station? I know we talked about it last
year but I think our battery was shipped to Africa.

If you want Gouda you need Broetchen as well !!!! Gouda-Broetchen hmmmmmm.....
Does Costco have Broetchen (roll/bun) ?! Not that sweet stuff they
sell here, real German Broetchen [1].
Just for the people who never taste a German Broetchen, they are made
from a different flour.
The taste is more like a french baguette (a real french baquette).
Damn its so difficult to find good bread in Japan.

The other day I bought a very nice bath mat from National Azabu and it
is apparently imported by Costco.

Everybody loves it, sometimes we cannot unstick Erika from it :-)

Can you have a look if they have any bigger than 60x90cm, or actually
do they sell carpets in Costco?
The label says Charisma Solid Bath Mat, color was green or blue, very
soft, heavy, white rubbery on the bottom, 100% Nylon.
