Well...

Raspberry Pi goes to revision 2.
Funny thing... rev 1 barely shipped.. it is still nearly impossible to get one.

Their site still proudly totes the $25 price tag.
But prices on Amazon range from 45-64...  with in stock prices at Element14 via Amazon at 64.95
Even doing an Amazon search for it turns up more Arduino products than pi stuff.

The Pi is a Lie!

I managed to get 2 Pi, but I was one of the freaks who did set up the
alarm clock, woke up 4 in the morning, and conducted the online
purchase... right when it was first released.

I paid U$35 + shipping. I think it took 2-3 months to be shipped...
they had trouble getting the boards inspected.

I got one, but I was not able to order on the first release. I got mine from RS components, try that one MRE.

They claimed that they had to enlarge the production capacity
extremely to cover the demand...
stop bashing them ;)
People still wait for there Nikon D800e, there smartphones, there
laptops, etc...

Its the nice new modern world were no company want to have huge stocks
of something and everything needs to be send from China around the
world to be unwrapped relabeled "Made in US/Germany/etc." and sold
twice or three times as expensive ;)

And in particular the people at Pi might have a black list of people
they frighten to send a Pi to them because of there great destruction
potential :P
