Just caught that on Hack-a-day:
http://cooking.blogoverflow.com/2012/06/taking-your-bread-to-the-next-level-with-steam/

I am very interested in, as Hack-a-day puts it:

"Arduinofying this hack with a few solenoid valves, PID sensors, and a high-temperature humidity sensor"

Should be able to find the parts to automate this at Sakaguchi maybe ?

And if we add a gear or two on the case, and include a pair of brass goggles,

You're Welcome.

Ohhhh I found that too....
the bread looks soooooo German bread like... make me homesick
We use a bread maker, however I was told you can make bread in a rice
cooker too.
Never tried.... someone with experience?

I don't know about bread in a rice cooker but we cook rice in a bread maker. Weird, right! Your mind has been blown!

Nice read about the way steam is supposed to work!

As for the tools, I have one of those water ovens ( http://healsio.jp/
) , will try it.

BTW, has anyone seen hacking (adding external controller) to such
ovens? I have been thinking along those lines for some time and in a
few months our oven will be out of warranty anyway ;-)

Kalin.

Well check this, in Germany we cook rice with milk calling it "Milchreis"
This creates goosebumps to each and every Asian I know ;)

This water oven is what we call a steamer?
Well there are many hacks for toaster ovens, guess its not that
difficult to convert them to a steamer controller.

Well, we add sugar to that and turn it into a yummy desert! Double mind blown! :D
