This way timemap can parse the lat long, if supplied, or use a default location if events tend to happen in the same spot.
To make life easy, I was planning to take the XML feed generated by google on all google hosted calendars, that way its almost identical to receiving a RSS feed, functionality already in Timemap.
It's not a perfect solution, but it's the best I could come up with. I have not as yet found a in-use way of appending gps info onto a calendar event, but I do know that there is a few calendars doing it currently.
